Admission to the course
Admission to the Master's Degree in Social Sustainability and Welfare Management requires a three-year university degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification obtained abroad and recognized as suitable. In addition, applicants must meet specific curricular requirements and demonstrate adequate background knowledge. The curricular requirements are fulfilled by holding a degree or a Master’s degree in one of the following classes under Ministerial Decree 270/2004 (or the corresponding classes under the previous Ministerial Decree 509/99):
- L-12: Language Mediation
- L-14: Legal Services Sciences
- L-16: Administration and Organisation Sciences
- L-18: Economics and Business Management Sciences
- L-19: Education and Training Sciences
- L-20: Communication Sciences
- L-21: Territorial, Urban, Landscape, and Environmental Planning Sciences
- L-24: Psychological Sciences and Techniques
- L-36: Political Sciences and International Relations
- L-37: Social Sciences for Cooperation, Development, and Peace
- L-39: Social Work
- L-40: Sociology
- L-41: Statistics
- LMG/01: Law
- L/SNT1: Nursing and Midwifery Health Professions
- L/STN/2: Health and Rehabilitation Professions
Admission is also permitted for applicants holding a degree in a field other than those specified above, provided they have obtained at least 75 CFUs in at least two of the following scientific-disciplinary sectors:
- Sociological/historical/political: SPS/03, SPS/04, SPS/05, SPS/07, SPS/08, SPS/09, SPS/10, M-STO/04, M-FIL/01, M-FIL/06
- Legal: IUS/01, IUS/02; IUS/04, IUS/05, IUS/06, IUS/07, IUS/08, IUS/09, IUS/10, IUS/12, IUS/13, IUS/14; IUS/19
- Economics: SECS-P/01, SECS-P/02, SECS-P/03, SECS-P/05, SECS-P/06, SECS-P/07, SECS-P/08, SECS-P/09, SECS-P/10, SECS-P/11, SECS-P/12, SECS-S/01, SECS-S/03, SECS-S/04, M-GGR/01, M-GGR/02
- Anthropological/psychological/pedagogical: M-DEA/01; M-PSI/05; M-PSI/06; M-PED/01; M-PED/02
The adequacy of the student’s preparation is verified through an interview. The procedures for this interview will be detailed in the course teaching regulations and communicated well in advance to ensure smooth enrollment. Only students who meet the curricular requirements will be eligible to participate in the personal readiness test.
