Social sustainability and welfare management gaduate is able to interpret social phenomena in a critical and reflective way. He also acquires the expertise to experiment programmes to protect the most vulnerable population groups through intervention aimed at social innovation, enhancing the relationship with the users of services, as well as with the network of public and private institutions at the local level.
Finally, the graduate has the ability to fit into the complex design and management of the current welfare, understood as the overall well-being of the population, ranging from community welfare, to corporate welfare.

The graduate will be able to carry out his professional activity in the public sector (ministries, local health authorities, local authorities), in the Third Sector (social cooperatives, NGOs, mutual aid companies) and in private enterprises (residential structures for the elderly, rehabilitation centers for minors) and will also be able to carry out the freelance profession and offer advice to people, organizations and institutions involved in the field of social inclusion policies.
The achievement of the master’s degree in social sustainability and welfare management also allows, once the state exam is passed, registration in section A of the professional register of social workers (Assistenti sociali).
